Tunnelling
at Tyin
Hydro
Energi and Selmer Skanska AS are co-operating in a joint project to upgrade
the existing reservoir system at the Tyin hydro electric power plant.
The Tyin project is one of a number of major Hydro Energi projects in
the mountains of western Norway, and with the help of an Atlas Copco Rocket
Boomer WL 3 it will produce considerably more renewable energy.
In total, 19 km of tunnels are planned for the project, which is scheduled
to be completed in the fall of 2004. |
